MADURO RESERVE Tawny Port 
MADURO is our proprietary name for a very special tawny port. It has a beautiful amber color with English toffee on the nose. Initial nutty flavors and rich caramel tickle your taste buds, leading to baked pears and hints of cognac on the mid palate. The delicious finish of orange peel and butterscotch lingers and lingers. MADURO recently won a gold medal at the Los Angeles Invitational Wine Challenge in February 2023.

This port is aged in neutral barrels for up to 9 years and then moved to our stainless-steel tank where we started aging MADURO in 2005. We select from aged petite sirah, petit verdot, and mission ports to add to the MADURO tank each year. We bottle around 130 cases from the tank every year, leaving this port continually aging.
